Local community project, Malton Free Fridge has been awarded The Kings Award for Voluntary Service, the highest life-time award given to local UK voluntary groups. The Free Fridge is a community waste food initiative, based in Malton, North Yorkshire and is run entirely by unpaid volunteers.

The huge 2 day Malton Christmas Festival on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th December is the shopping event of the year, where visitors can find more than 80 stalls from skilled makers to producers of fine fare and more!
