A brand new event celebrating everything from the 1940s set in the grounds of an original POW camp!
Brylcream your hair, don your best hat, and dress to impress as you step back in time and immerse yourself in the vibrant spirit of the 1940s at Eden Camp! Get ready for a weekend filled with nostalgic fun, lively music, and the charm of a bygone era. Buzzing with activity. At Eden Camp you’ll discover something different around every corner as you explore the 22 original prisoner of war huts. Our displays capture the humour, sacrifice and spirit of a nation at war . Discover the personal tributes and unique stories of some of the individuals throughout the war.
It’s the perfect setting for you to get into the 1940s spirit, with everything from the outbreak of World War II and the Dig For Victory and Make Do and Mend campaigns, to the arrival of POWs to the camp from Malton Station!

*All trading space will be allocated by the Event Organiser on a “first come, first served” basis. The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse any applications for space or change location, without explanation. Spaces allocated at the Event Organiser’s discretion. The Event Organiser reserves the right not to accept a booking.
All visitors to the museum are invited to join in with the fun and get dressed up in either civilian or military period clothing. All weapons (including but not limited to deactivated rifles, blank firing weapons, knives, bayonets) are NOT permitted on site. Costume must be respectful and SS/Gestapo uniform (or similar) is strictly prohibited. We respectfully request in light of current events for visitors/reenactors to avoid Russian attire/equipment of any kind. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

RE-ENACTOR ENTRY APPLICATIONS AND VEHICLE ENTRY
All living history groups or vehicle applications wishing to take part in this event should register by emailing nick@edencamp.co.uk.
We encourage all groups and members to stay or attend the entire 2 days if possible. We also ask that any re-enactors be in their period uniform or clothing by 10am before members of the public enter site. All registered groups are welcome to camp/stay on site from Friday evening through to Monday morning. If you haven’t registered, we may struggle to find you space. There are no hook-ups.
