On Saturday 23rd of September, come and celebrate Roman life in Malton and Norton at the second Malton Museum Roman Festival!
Our second Roman Festival will include live action demonstrations from the Roman Cavalry by Equistry, marching and battle sequences from Magister Militum, Roma Antiqua and Legio VI Victrix.

Tickets
£10 per adult, kids under 14 go free! (must be accompanied by an adult)
We also have a family ticket offer - £20 per family of 2 adults and up to 4 children (Children aged 14 and under)
Activities
Live-action Roman Cavalry displays by Equistry and Roman Legionaries Magister Militum re-enactors
Roman interest groups will tell the story of the Romans in our community and within Britannia
Roman themed authors, including children’s author Kate Cunningham who brings her ‘Vlad the flea in time’ stories of Ancient Rome.
Children’s activities of Mosaic making, wax tablet making, an archaeological dig and finds sorting, as well as being able to dress up as an Ancient Britain or a Roman Soldier - and more!
Retail stalls, refreshments and a Mini Malton Museum
