Hilarity Bites is back with three exceptional comedians.

Steve Day describes himself as Britain’s only deaf comedian – and if there are any others then he hasn’t heard of them  Actually, there are a couple of others who have started since he wrote that joke!
For the past dozen years Steve has been performing to huge laughter around the country and abroad.
Married with five children, Steve has been described as ‘warm and witty’ by the Scotsman and has received many other rave reviews whilst performing shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Chortle gave him five stars in 2007 for ‘Deafy’s Island Discs’, a show The Sunday Times called ‘Funny and Moving’.

A small girl who gets big laughs, Becky Umbers is a multi-award-winning comedian from New Zealand. With a unique take on life and a voice to match, Becky won Best Debut at the 2019 New Zealand International Comedy Festival and was nominated for Best Female Comedian NZ 2022 at the NZ Comedy Guild Awards. Delivering an expertly crafted mixture of quirky storytelling and cheeky observations with a sly grin, she’s already made her mark in New Zealand and brings her charming sense of humour to the UK comedy scene.

Aaron Twitchen is a stand up, actor, aerialist and living stereotype. As well as featuring on BBC Radio 4, he was listed in Metro’s top 5 RomComs and has provided tour support to Luisa Omielan. Aaron has also supported bands at music festivals and is an accomplished stage actor and improvisor.  Unusually, he is also a trained circus act, concentrating particularly on aerial skills and trapeze work.
