Malton’s very own boutique summer music festival will return on Saturday 30th July 2022, bringing harmonies and melodies once again to Yorkshire’s Food Capital.

Fondly known as “Yorkshire’s Foodie Glastonbury,” the Malton Food Lovers Festival is one of the UK’s biggest free food and drink events. The much-loved food and drink celebration will be returning not once, but twice this year backed by popular demand.

Malton Market Place is the setting for the return of Malton’s annual two-day Christmas Market, packed with seasonal treats and gifts for everyone. The festive celebration will run from Saturday 4th to Sunday 5th December 2021.

This weekend saw the return of Malton’s much-loved Food Lovers Festival, where, for the first time the festivities spanned three days from the 28th to the 30th August. One of the country’s biggest free-to-enter food festivals, saw almost 50,000 visitors flock to the town to experience the iconic event which was the catalyst for the late Antonio Carluccio to call Malton “The Food Capital of Yorkshire”.

Following England’s triumphant 2-0 win over Germany in the round of 16 of EURO2020, the band behind the seminal hit ‘Three Lions’ will be appearing in the North Yorkshire town of Malton at this year’s MeadowFest in one month’s time on 31st July.
